Nevada's DMV publishes the most complete penalty table we read, and it can be applied directly. Even a one-day lapse suspends the registration. On a first offense, 1 to 30 days costs $250, 31 to 90 days costs $500, 91 to 180 days costs $750 with an SR-22 for 3 years, and 181 days or more costs $1,250 with the same filing. On a third offense within five years, every band brings the 3-year SR-22 and a license suspension of at least 30 days, and totals run from $750 to $1,750. The DMV defines the SR-22 as a Certificate of Financial Responsibility your insurer files with it, and the company tells the agency immediately if you drop cover. Police can also impound a vehicle driven on a suspended registration. The limits are $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident and $20,000 for property.

Not verified means that we did not read the rule on an official page. It does not mean that the rule is absent, and we do not infer at-fault status from silence. Ask the state before relying on a blank.
